Pumpkins don’t have Ankles? Of course not! You’re silly for even thinking such a thing! Fortunately for you, Emily Park also has an affinity for silly (and witty and insightful) thoughts which you can find in her blog (”Pumpkins Don’t Have Ankles” on my blogroll).

Emily’s blog has been around for a while. It was, in fact, the inspiration for my blog. Unfortunately (for my blog), her blog has been considerably more reliable, and I’ve enjoyed reading it over the past couple of years. I think my favorite category that you’ll find on her blog is the “poetry that oughtn’t” category. Here is an example of her and several of her friends discussing artist series tickets in the style of various poets (I had to add one of my own in a comment because it looked so fun).

You’ll also find several amusing conversations and synopses. Her most recent post is a 60 second version of the movie Twilight, which you need to check out because it’s hilarious.
